The Julia Behind The Eats

Food is one of only a few things that we ALL have in common. That is why I created this food blog. I believe that food has the power to heal and connect the world. My goal is to help people love food as much as I do through recipes, nutrition tips, and the occasional tangent.

I am a vegetarian and dairy free, which means so are my recipes. A ton of them are even vegan, gluten free, or refined sugar free. We got it all covered! 

​

I am a second year university student studying both nutrition and psychology. I believe that nutrition and mental health are two fundamental aspects of health, but they are both often neglected. I want to change that, starting here. Each post will dive into what it means to live a happier and healthier life, and will give you the tools you need to achieve that.

I spend most of my year in Southern California at my college in sunny San Diego, right on the beach. Over the summer and other breaks, I spend my time in Northern California in a small town near Lake Tahoe, where we have dogs, cats, and chickens.
